2mm FDA Blue Food-Grade Conveyor Belt for Fish and Seafood.

Our 2mm blue food-grade conveyor belts (typically made of PU or PVC) are designed with the special environment and high hygiene standards required for fish and seafood processing in mind.
1. Food Safety and Compliance (HACCP Compliance).
Compliant with International Standards: The conveyor belts typically meet FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) and EU10/2011 (EU Food Contact Materials) standards, ensuring they are non-toxic, odorless, and will not contaminate food.
Foreign Object Detection (The Key Role of Blue): Fish and seafood are typically white, pink, or gray. Blue provides a striking contrast to these colors. If the conveyor belt wears down or debris falls into the product, blue debris is easily detected by the naked eye or optical sorting machines, preventing foreign object contamination and meeting HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) requirements.
2. Excellent Environmental Adaptability.
Hydrolysis and Water Resistance: Seafood processing environments are often very humid, involving frequent rinsing. Food-grade PU/PVC
belts exhibit excellent hydrolysis resistance and will not delaminate or degrade upon prolonged contact with water, salt water, or steam.
Low-temperature resistance: Seafood processing often involves frozen or refrigerated environments (e.g., -20°C to +10°C). The 2mm thin belt
maintains good flexibility at low temperatures, without hardening or cracking.
Oil resistance: Fish contains oils, and this material has good resistance to animal fats, making it less prone to corrosion or swelling.
3. Physical advantages of 2mm thickness:
High flexibility: 2mm is a thin belt, making it very flexible. This makes it suitable for conveyors with small-diameter rollers and for processing
equipment with limited space.
Lightweight: The thinner belt is lighter, reducing the load on the drive motor, contributing to energy savings, and also facilitating installation
and replacement.
Smooth operation: The thin belt exhibits minimal vibration during operation, which helps protect delicate seafood products (such as fish fillets)
and reduces physical damage.
4. Hygiene and ease of cleaning.
Smooth Surface: The food-grade surface undergoes special treatment, resulting in an extremely smooth surface that resists the adhesion of
fish scales, slime, or meat scraps.
Antibacterial and Anti-mold: Many high-end food-grade conveyor belts incorporate antibacterial agents to inhibit the growth of bacteria and
mold, reducing the risk of cross-contamination.
Easy to Clean: Supports high-pressure water jet washing and disinfection with food-grade detergents, ensuring high cleaning efficiency and
minimizing downtime for maintenance.
5. Fish bones, fins, or shells are relatively sharp; therefore, the conveyor belt must be structurally robust and resistant to cuts and abrasion.
